A few days ago, the Metis protocol announced the activation of BUSD on its network. This would enable users to swap BUSD from one blockchain network to another. Other stablecoins already supported on the platform include DAI and USDC.

Excited to announce that #BUSD is now supported by the Metis Official Bridge🌉💫

The Metis bridge supports deposits and withdrawals with the Celer network, PolyNetwork on BSC, and other third-party networks.

According to Metis, the recent integration of the Binance USD into its platform presents freedom of choice for users. Metis prides itself on offering users more alternatives if users have a pleasant experience while using the platform.

Metis is a layer two protocol that uses Rollups technology to improve the speed of blockchain transactions. Like other layer-two scaling solutions, Metis was developed to serve as a reliable and secure platform for DeFi activities while keeping fees low.

With the Metis Rollup, a fraction of transactions remains on-chain while another fragment of transactions processed is pushed off-chain to boost execution speed. The decentralized protocol adopted rollups as a go-to scaling option because of its relatively higher level of security.

Since the launch of the protocol in 2019, the Metis team has consistently developed the protocol to support a wide range of use cases. Metis now supports NFT platforms, open-source developer communities, and influencer communities.

The layer-two blockchain protocol also supports decentralized social platforms for web3 fans. Further, the Metis protocol is utilized in gaming and freelancer communities.

Metis’ layer-two infrastructure makes it easy for developers to build web3 applications and solutions. Notably, the protocol has a long-term goal of making it seamless for anyone to build blockchain applications. If Metis achieves the secondary goals on its roadmap, in the future, users may be able to create effective web3 applications in little time.

His primary focus is on technical analysis (crypto is, obviously, *not* crypto without the twirls of price action), the magic of DeFi, and NFTs. He is specifically training his eyes and effort on DeFi—and how the tech is changing investment, opening up opportunities for everyone—and the possibilities of NFTs.
