Bitget Wallet Expands Payment Options
Bitget Wallet has introduced support for crypto purchases through Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit cards. The integration is powered by Mercuryo, a global payment infrastructure platform, enabling users to buy more than 40 crypto assets directly within the wallet.
Multiple Payment Methods Available
Beyond Apple Pay and Google Pay, Bitget Wallet now supports Visa, MasterCard, Revolut Pay, SEPA, and PIX transactions. This expansion introduces ten additional payment methods, helping to onboard more users to crypto through simple, familiar payment solutions.
Focus on Stablecoins and Adoption
The collaboration emphasizes stablecoin adoption, offering a limited-time campaign where users can buy their first 100 USDC at mid-market rates without fees.
Jamie Elkaleh, CMO of Bitget Wallet, explained that stablecoins are now central to crypto adoption:
“This initiative makes it simple for new users to buy their first 100 USDC directly in the wallet and start exploring its features.”
Supporting Broader Crypto Use
Bitget Wallet has also partnered with Paydify and MoonPay to enhance support for stablecoin payments. These integrations let users pay merchants directly with stablecoins.
The wallet previously launched fiat withdrawal features, allowing crypto funds to be transferred straight into bank accounts, making digital assets more practical for everyday transactions.
