About a month ago, the Avax network introduced the Avalanche-CLI. The Avalanche-CLI is a tool to help subnet developers build subnets on the Avax blockchain.
Subnets have the ability to scale infinitely and the Avalanche team believes they will be a core tool for Web3 developers and users. The team also recommended developers and node operators check how it works and use it for upcoming projects.
Scaling With Subnets
The Avalanche-CLI is a new framework for developing subnets at a quicker pace. Developers need not master so many repositories to launch a subnet on Avalanche anymore.
The Avax team stated that its vision is to make it easy for beginner developers to deploy their subnets in little time and with just a few commands. Typically, three commands or less will do. Interestingly, the commands are also in plain terms, lacking extremely technical languages.
Developers simply need to install, create Avalanche subnet and deploy Avalanche subnet. The Avalanche-CLI also guides developers in customizing EVM and selecting safe gas parameters. Developers also have the option to airdrop tokens to their communities.
While beginner developers will find the new tool helpful, seasoned developers can also benefit from some unique functions while launching a subnet. The Avalanche-CLI will have a feature that enables developers to automate repeated deployments with the ability to swap out custom virtual machines.
Node operators will also be able to use the tool to start their validators and select which additional subnets they want to validate.
The Avalanche-CLI is a great tool for developers and node operators in the Avax community. The Avax team also emphasized that users can test the tool and report glitches if they experience any. The feedback will be used to upgrade the tool and make Avax subnets better.
Applications built with the Avalanche-CLI will operate at an optimum speed, and with extremely low gas fees for users. Also, the tool makes it possible for developers to scale their DApps in hours, rather than waiting for months or even years.
