The price of Shiba Inu Coin, the second-largest meme cryptocurrency in the world, has mostly stayed the same over the last thirty days. The latest market collapse has caused the SHIB price to decrease continuously. However, the recent development has piqued interest in the Shiba Inu coin, which may drive the price.

A move by Binance on the Voyager acquisition?

As per recent developments, Binance.US attempted to bid on assets from Voyager Digital. The news announcement indicated that the transaction would be valued at $1.022 billion. This significant disclosure, meanwhile, was made as criticism of its reserves grew.

According to Voyager, Binance.US made the highest and best offer for its assets. Further consideration of up to $20 million in added value is also included in this agreement.

According to Nansen, Binance would add Shiba Inus and other assets valued at $76 million to its offer to purchase Voyager. Additionally, $255 million in Ethereum (ETH) and $62 million in VBX tokens will be added, which seems stirred by this expected acquisition.

SHIB’s holders soar

The price of Shiba Inu Coin, recently adopted in Switzerland, has decreased by 8% over the last 30%. The price of SHIB has increased a little during the past 24 hours. At the time of publication, Shiba Inu were trading for an average price of $0.0000008. It has a $58 million 24-hour trading volume.

Despite this price decline, over the past few days, more than 2,000 new SHIB holders have been added to the coin holders list. Meanwhile, the top ten assets sought by the largest ethereum investors now include the meme currency. According to a tweet from the SHIB-themed account, the total number of SHIB holders reached 1,268,573 by December 21.
