American beverage giant Coca Cola in August 2022, launched a unique NFT that is shareable and generative on the polygon network. The NFT was created to Mark the anniversary of international friendship day, commemorated on July 30, 2022.
The NFT token functions in a share to reveal how each artwork is masked but disclosed once it is shared with a friend. Also, the tokens were airdropped to the wallet of current holders of the previous coca-cola collectibles.
All owners of these new collectibles will be able to share them with friends, expanding the fan base of Coca-cola on the open blockchain. The bubbles inside a coke bottle and themes of connection and unity inspired the design of the NFT token, and MakeTafi designed it.
Coca-cola also made this NFT thank all the fans who have stuck with them since the start of their metaverse journey in 2021. They launched their first NFT token on international friendship day that year and deemed it fit only to repay the favor simultaneously this year.
As time passes, holders of this new NFT will gain access to perks and rewards, including gaming events and coke studio-powered experiences. Finally, they will have early access to exclusive and limited editions of coca cola products on launch.
This company aims to remain active in the metaverse throughout this year, surprising fans with limited edition collectibles tied to special moments of the year. So far, the total NFT coca cola has minted over 4000 starting from the international friendship day in 2021 with a loot box auction for unique Olympics International.
Since then, they have launched different digital collectibles on several occasions. For example, they made a limited digital collectible for international pride day. The last of their releases is the international friendship day 2022 digital collectibles on July 30, 2022.
