World-class business media company fortune.com has ranked Ripple, a technology company, as one of the best places to work. Ranking it number 34 among the top 100 best places to work globally.

The platform was co-founded in 2012 by Jed McCaleb, a programmer, and Chris Larsen, a business executive and angel investor. Together they built a private business headquartered in San Francisco, California, United States of America.

In addition, they purchased SimpleHoney to help virtual currencies gain wider acclaim and be easier to use for average users. In September 2013, they briefly changed their name to ripple lab inc then 2 years later, they rebranded again to Ripple.

Ripple acquired a virtual currency license from the financial state department in New York, making them the fourth company to have a Bitlicense. Presently Ripple payment system is available in over 50 countries and spans about 5 continents.

XRP, the platform’s native token and payment instrument is currently worth 0.37 dollars and ranked number 6 in the crypto market. It has a market cap of over 17 billion dollars and a total supply of 100 trillion coins with 48.34 billion in circulation.

The company has branches in about seven countries, with three in the United States, which includes its headquarters. As of July 2022, their total employees amounted to over 700 in all their branches.

According to fortune.com, these employees are pleased with their work and working conditions. An employee who decided to remain anonymous has claimed that no company can match Ripple’s work Ethics. Finally, the employees appreciate their leaders, who made it all possible.
