Wall Street Veteran Sees Bitcoin Allocations Rising
Traditional finance may be gearing up to buy more Bitcoin before 2025. Wall Street veteran and macro analyst Jordi Visser expects a major uptick in institutional Bitcoin allocations by year-end, saying this could fuel Q4 demand.
Speaking with Anthony Pompliano in a recent interview, Visser said:
“Between now and the end of the year, the allocations for Bitcoin for the next year from the traditional finance world are going to be increased. I think Bitcoin’s allocation number will go higher across portfolios. That is going to happen.”
Q4 Could Be Key for Bitcoin Allocations
Visser believes that US financial institutions will increase exposure to Bitcoin in the final quarter of 2025, setting the stage for next year’s portfolio strategies.
His comments follow a March 18 survey from Coinbase and EY-Parthenon revealing that 83% of institutional investors plan to increase crypto allocations in 2025. In May, Bitwise projected $120 billion in Bitcoin inflows by 2025 and $300 billion by 2026.
Bitcoin ETF Inflows Continue to Surge
US spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded approximately $2.33 billion in net inflows in the past five days, according to Farside data, bringing total inflows to $56.79 billion since their January 2024 launch.
The growing number of publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin has also hit $117.03 billion, per BitcoinTreasuries.NET.
Bitcoin Price Outlook
While Visser refrained from offering a specific price target, he said he liked “the way the charts are starting to play out,” suggesting that market momentum may remain strong heading into year-end.
