On the 20th of August, the XCAD network announced that Google had approved its plugin after a manual assessment. Users will now be able to earn while watching videos on their favorite crypto YouTube channels. The XCAD plugin is free and has been integrated into the channels of several crypto influencers, including Mr. Beast and Lance Stewart.
The recent approval from the Google team means the plugin is set to go live in the coming week. Although the approval took a lot of time, as acknowledged by the Google team, XCAD is now over that hurdle.
The XCAD token is currently valued at $1.8, and users would be able to swap the token on the platform. Each YouTuber would have his unique token with a unique ticker symbol. As YouTubers perform better, the value of their tokens appreciates.
Viewers will also benefit from the growth of YouTubers’ channels. XCAD, which is Zilliqa-based, has identified itself as a protocol that will play a similar role to STEPN, allowing blockchain users to earn crypto while carrying out regular daily activities.
Content consumers can also use earned tokens to purchase NFTs on the platform. Further, the XCAD plugin would permit users to stake their tokens to earn even higher rewards.
With XCAD, content creators and YouTubers will unlock a new level of engagement and rewards in the web3 ecosystem. XCAD will also make the media world more decentralized, as holders of the fan tokens can participate in governance, having a say in creators’ decisions.
In the year’s final quarter, XCAD will be looking to integrate Twitch and the BNB chain into the live plugin. The network is also pushing for Firefox support for the plugin. Finally, XCAD will launch XCAD.com, wrapping up the year in style.
