Ondo Stocks Surpasses $1 Billion in Value as Ecosystem Surges

Winking dog meme coin surrounded by social icons, a rocket, and rising market charts.

Ondo Finance’s tokenized equities platform has crossed $1 billion in total value locked less than a year after its September 2025 launch, according to an ecosystem update distributed by PR Newswire. The announcement also details $27 billion in cumulative Ondo Stocks trading volume and an initial $8 billion in cumulative volume on Ondo Perps.

Liquidity signals for tokenized equities

The $27 billion cumulative volume figure stands out because it is roughly 26 times Ondo Stocks’ current TVL. That turnover suggests tokenized stocks and ETFs are being actively traded across centralized exchanges, decentralized venues, and primary mint/redeem activity, rather than simply held as static exposure. Ondo Stocks lists more than 440 assets, and each token is backed by the corresponding stock or ETF held with licensed U.S. custodial broker-dealers.

What the next phase could look like

Beyond Ondo Stocks, the update highlights accelerating activity in Ondo Perps and continued use of USDY and OUSG for onchain access to U.S. Treasury products. The ecosystem holder base crossed 200,000 after growing nearly 20% in the last 30 days. For market participants, the key question is whether this secondary-market depth can hold as the tokenized RWA sector matures and faces more scrutiny around custody, liquidity, and regulatory alignment.
