Ava Labs: Avalanche will Release New Products and Technologies in-house

Emin Gun Sirer, the founder of Avalabs recently revealed that the Avalanche protocol will be using its in-house experts to build most of its technological components. The veteran computer scientist implied that the Avax network would not be acquiring any complex technological infrastructure like some other blockchain protocols.

I'm proud to announce that Ava Labs is not going to be announcing the acquisition of any of our core technologies. Everything we build, we build with the talent we have in house.

The Avalanche network is widely known for its scalability mechanisms. The network was launched in 2018, with the purpose of solving existing blockchain problems. Before releasing the Avalanche whitepaper, Emin Gun was influential in the blockchain space.

The Computer geek created a peer-to-peer currency six years before the invention of Bitcoin. Although, the virtual currency did not run on blockchain and the double spending problem could not be eradicated.

Emin also contributed to the development of Bitcoin, and his research on Ethereum before “The DAO hack” spurred the invention of the Avalanche blockchain.

What Makes the Avalanche Network Unique?

The Avalanche chain is now known as an ETH competitor. With Avalanche, blockchain developers and users can now achieve high throughput with low transaction fees. The Avalanche chain supports throughput of 6500 transactions every second, which is massive compared to Ethereum’s 30 transactions per second.

Interestingly, the Avax blockchain achieves scalability without compromising security. The network has three individual chains that help it achieve scalability – the Exchange chain (X-chain), the Contract chain (C-chain), and the Platform chain (P-Chain).

These multiple chains help the network to divide tasks successfully, avoiding congestion. Additionally, the network’s chains are interoperable and the Avalanche chain is improving its technology to support interoperability with other networks.

Despite the network’s achievements in the last few years, the Avalanche team will not get complacent. Emin Gun and his team are actively building newer technologies to improve the network’s model. Avalanche is now the 14th largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, and the network will aim for higher heights in the coming months.

His primary focus is on technical analysis (crypto is, obviously, *not* crypto without the twirls of price action), the magic of DeFi, and NFTs. He is specifically training his eyes and effort on DeFi—and how the tech is changing investment, opening up opportunities for everyone—and the possibilities of NFTs.
