OpenAssets Tokenization Infrastructure Now Available in AWS Marketplace

Financial institutions and fintechs now have a new deployment path for tokenized capital markets infrastructure. OpenAssets announced that its tokenization operating system is available in AWS Marketplace, allowing banks, asset managers, exchanges, and large institutions to apply for customized versions that run inside their own Amazon Web Services environments. The listing was published in an official OpenAssets press release on September 15, 2026.

The move echoes broader institutional crypto infrastructure efforts, including Coinbase and Moov Bring Stablecoin Services to 1,000+ Banks, as established providers seek to make regulated services more accessible to banks and fintech firms.

It also follows infrastructure partnerships such as Polymath and High Ridge Trust Partner to Advance Institutional Infrastructure for Tokenized Securities, underscoring the push toward compliant, institution-ready tokenization systems.

What OpenAssets brings to AWS Marketplace

The OpenAssets operating system spans asset issuance and lifecycle management, a compliance and transfer-agent layer, and connectivity to primary and secondary venues. Institutions can issue and service tokenized assets including stablecoins, tokenized deposits, bonds, equities, funds, commodities, and more across more than a dozen blockchains.

The company says the system is built to meet security requirements of regulated institutions, with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification and a completed SOC 2 Type 2 examination. That matters because institutional deployments often face controls around data residency, access management, and audit requirements.

What the AWS Marketplace listing means for institutional tokenization

The listing changes where institutional tokenization runs. Instead of relying on an external platform, institutions can manage the full workflow inside their existing AWS account. That approach may reduce integration friction and support procurement through AWS enterprise agreements.

For the market, the announcement suggests that tokenization infrastructure is becoming a deployable enterprise service rather than a bespoke consulting project. The next milestone to watch is whether banks and asset managers move from private offers to scaled production deployments in tokenized funds or tokenized deposits.
