Among other things, Enjin’s Network Gaming Platform Wallet has added support for Polygon tokens in the beta version 2.0.10 released today, September 21, 2022, which, along with bug fixes, also brought several new features for its users.
The Enjin Wallet is a cutting-edge cryptocurrency and NFT smartphone app that allows users to store, send and trade their NFTs and serves as a portfolio application.
Today, Enjin announced the release of a new beta version of its new wallet via its official Twitter platform, stating the features include support for Polygon tokens, Jump Net, and Goerli.
The latest version of Enjin Wallet now supports tokens and collectibles for the JumpNet and Goerli blockchains and token-only support for the Polygon blockchain.
Enjin’s decision to support Polygon ERC-20s seems wise, and groundbreaking for the company as a large number of investors, projects, and protocols have recently started to quickly integrate Polygon because of the network’s low transaction gas fee saving them money compared to other top blockchains like Ethereum and Bitcoin, among others.
Enjin claims that the recently released beta version of the wallets also included several fixes and minor features in addition to the added major ones. These include an updated coin query and blockchain selection order in the Add Blockchain menu, support for Polygon in the DApp browser, and an integrated redesigned ENS service.
In addition, the updated version allows displaying the face value for Goerli transfer fees, and small numbers are now displayed with notation values.
Furthermore, the team hinted that after this release, a new development sprint would come as they are working on a project that will allow Enjin Coin (ENJ) to be converted to JENJ, a private form of ENJ running on the JumpNet network, to allow NFT created on the JumpNet to be backed by JENJ.
The newly released version 2.0.10 of Enjin Wallets can be accessed by through into their official website.
