On September 15, the NADA Digital leading play to earn game (P2E), Slime World, built on Hedera’s network, reached over 100,000 players, demonstrating the significant growth in Slime World gameplay and Hedera network over the past few months.
In the Slime World P2E game, players grow and collect their slime to fight the Dark Slime and use their slime to stake, breed, and compete against one another to win prizes. Prizes won are redeemed in NADA, the token of the Hedera Token Service (HTS).
The latest milestone of more than 100,000 players reached by the NADA Digital P2E game on Hedera within a few months after its launch in February 2022 can be attributed to the observable impact of the Hedera network on gaming and the high quality of the P2E game.
Hedera’s transaction speed, reliably low and fixed gas prices, and carbon negative credentials that are eco-friendly help Slime World eliminate almost all entry barriers like high gas fees that players face with P2E on other networks Yun-yeol, CEO of NADA Digital, said:
Having researched other networks, we realized that Hedera was best-in-class for facilitating our P2E ecosystem. Operating on a high throughput carbon-negative network with low, fixed fees means that Slime World is accessible for all without harming the environment. We look forward to growing alongside the Hedera network with our NADA token and establishing a truly sustainable P2E economy.
Furthermore, accounts on the Hedera network have also benefited significantly from the Slime World game as they interacted with the NADA token through game activity.
In addition, Slime World has built a large community of players in Latin America and Southeast Asia. They have recently created their first edition of Slime NFTs on the carbon-negative network. The Slime NFTs can be used in various ways in the future PvP (player vs. player) arena as they each have different characteristics (such as attack, HP, defense, and speed).
