NFT and Metaverse-Focused Flow Blockchain Partners with Instagram

On the 4th of August, Flow of Dapper Labs announced its partnership with one of the largest social media platforms, Instagram. The recent partnership will allow Instagram users to showcase their Dapper NFTs on the platform.

This added feature will unlock a higher level of engagement for crypto users on the social network. Collectors and creators on the social network can utilize their digital assets seamlessly.

Today’s the day 🥳

Our partnership with @instagram begins rolling out, which means select users can now connect their @hellodapper wallet and showcase their favorite NFTs directly on their account!

Users simply need to connect their Dapper wallets to Instagram to enjoy the new feature. Instagram has added new icons to make this process smooth.

The recent integration kicked off with users in the United States, and Instagram plans to expand to at least 100 countries across four continents. Interestingly, no transaction fees will be associated with posting and sharing digital collectibles.

Flow x Meta – Making NFT Adoption Seamless

The team emphasized that the partnership reveals Flow’s commitment to promoting NFT adoption and how much developers and users have embraced its blockchain. Flow will be one of the first blockchain networks to be embraced by Meta, Instagram’s parent company.

The support for NFTs will make the NFT ecosystem more inclusive for all. Further, the Meta team will prioritize the security of users. Social fans on IG can report NFT users who fail to comply with the community’s guidelines.

Meta is also aware of criticisms related to NFTs and environmental sustainability. The company’s official website revealed that it would utilize renewable energy to help reduce the emission impact of digital collectibles.

With the adoption of NFTs by Meta’s Instagram, the company is on the right track to achieving its metaverse goals. The FLOW token also responded well to the adoption, gaining 50% after the announcement. FLOW now trades at $2.75 and has a market cap of $2.8 billion.

His primary focus is on technical analysis (crypto is, obviously, *not* crypto without the twirls of price action), the magic of DeFi, and NFTs. He is specifically training his eyes and effort on DeFi—and how the tech is changing investment, opening up opportunities for everyone—and the possibilities of NFTs.
